The dance ensemble, DEKKADANCERS, has seen real growth recently and one of the products of this is their latest production, Transformation. As is typical of this ensemble, they have their own particular twist on Franz Kafka’s foremost creation. Choreographers Ondřej Vinklát, who excels in the lead role, and Štěpán Pechar, under the direction of Štěpán Benyovszký, have created a dance grotesque that blends tragicomedy, cartoon and real moments of despair.  Jiří Lábus’s accompanying voice really brings Kafka’s tale to life with illustrative quotations and a jazzy musical collage.
