Forest in the middle of the city. People inside their bodies. Fragile and persistent. 4 dancers from Brazil, Portugal and Slovenia are bringing a unique participative dance site-specific project, in which they are looking into volatility and instability of a body, whose are reflecting the current state of the nature, climate and team. When we are standing head-down, the body is turning over space and time. How long can a human body stand like this and how long does the forest stand?

The production team is involving, in each city where they host, local citizens, in order to together create a forest and became a part of the mutual thinking about the condition of our planet that does not have a “Plan B”. After a 2-days workshop, on the various public places in Brno will grow a tree grove which is organically grow into the common day in the middle of the town.

This project is part of the Big Pulse Dance Alliance, on which is cooperating 12 European festivals. Spring tour Woods (Lithuania – Sweden – Czech Republic – Great Britain) and got a support of the Perform Europe.

The project was created in cooperation with the International Dance Festival TANEC PRAHA. The Latin American Merkádo markets are participating in the launch in Brno.
