For the first time, the festival will present the contemporary physical theatre ensemble, Burki&com, led by choreographer Jana Burkiewiczová. Their latest premiere, a multimedia dance performance The Island! has an exceptionally strong cast of leading Czech dancers. The project involved the cooperation of many well-known figures from various artistic areas. The environmentally-themed production is a kind of multimedia model of the biotope of an island and a specific pond, which has become a base for research and inspiration. The production is particularly enhanced by set design, which uniquely connects the audience and the players.
